Code §83-9-26): ABA capped at 25 hours a week, not required beyond age 8, no dollar cap; some insurers voluntarily removed age caps; Medicaid EPSDT (to 21) NOT subject to these caps

ABA is not the same appointment as a diagnosis. Autism testing in Mississippi is done by a developmental pediatrician, child psychologist or child neurologist, and most health plans want that evaluation on file before they will authorize therapy.
